●The Sadistic Mika Band, consisting of Kazuhiko Kato (g, vo), Mika (vo), Masayoshi Takanaka (g), Rei Ohara (b), and Yukihiro Takahashi (ds), released their debut album in 1973. This album, filled with colorful and danceable boogie and rock and roll, became a big hit even in glam rock-filled London, and is now available on the super high-end analog record "100% Pure LP," which was revived last year!

● "100% Pure LP" is a special Made in Japan product that debuted in 2012 and is a pioneer of modern high-fidelity records that has attracted great attention from all over the world. One of its features is the use of "uncolored virgin vinyl," which eliminates all coloring agents that affect sound, such as carbon, that are usually used in analog records. By using only pure straight vinyl chloride as the raw material, the stability of the molding is significantly enhanced.

● Another point is the use of "metal master pressing." By omitting the metal mother and stamper from the process leading up to the pressing of a normal analog record, it is possible to create grooves that are overwhelmingly faithful to the original by pressing directly from the metal master. However, it is less durable, so the number of pressings is strictly limited.

● This release also uses 45 RPM, which is used for 12-inch singles, instead of the usual 33 RPM of LP records. This means that the amount of time that can be recorded on each side is shorter, so it is a double LP set, but it is possible to engrave wider and longer grooves, and the stability is also improved by the high-speed rotation, creating a great advantage in the reproduction of detail and richness of volume.

●The audio source is a 192kHz/24bit WAV file transferred in 2023 from the original analog master tapes, and mastered as flat as possible to avoid compromising the freshness of the sound and dynamic range. The goal is to create a natural sound that is faithful to the original.

●By thoroughly pursuing every step from the selection of master and vinyl materials to pressing, we have created a "100% Pure LP" that maximizes the true value of the vinyl record. The guts and warmth unique to analog remain, while a truly pure and clear sound is unfolded, completely free of muddiness and impurities.

●The 7-inch single that came with the original LP has also been reproduced on uncolored virgin vinyl (not a heavyweight metal master pressing).
