While the previous two entries in the Joystick Jazz collection drew from a wider assortment of nostalgia-inducing video game soundtracks, one legendary franchise (starring a particularly iconic plumber with panache) was notably absent.

Now you know why — those jazzy geniuses were saving their interpretations for one mega-LP, packed with tunes from all over the series’ history spanning Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Odyssey, and even spin-offs like Mario Kart 64.

And since this is another iam8bit collaboration, you know the deal: You’re getting even more legendary artwork from our award-winning friend Mark Borgions, high-quality sound-snob approved black vinyl.

This is iam8bit’s third collaboration with the uber-talented Blueshift Big Band! Check out Volume 1 and Volume 2 for more snazzy, finger-snappin’ toe-tappin’ goodness.
