Description

Think you know Cinderella's “evil” stepsisters? Think again. Sick of living in Cinderella’s shadow, Lilith (Ali Wong) steals the Fairy Godmother (Bette Midler)’s magic wand and hijacks the Royal Ball with her sister Margot (Stephanie Hsu), breaking the Cinderella story as we know it and dooming the kingdom to the tyrannical rule of Priscilla (Nikki Glaser), a villainous schemer who swoops in and snatches the throne. Now, Lilith must team up with Cinderella (Amanda Seyfried) to fight biker trolls, outrun evil henchmen, and escape the Screaming Woods on an epic quest to save the kingdom, but most importantly, their relationship.

About STEPS: Think you know Cinderella's “evil” stepsisters?

Justin Tranter: STEPS is complimented through 4 new bold original songs from Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum hitmaker Justin Tranter, whose catalog spans global hits for Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, and more. Tranter brings his signature pop sensibility, and a rare instinct for crafting songs that feel immediate, emotional, and unforgettable to STEPS. Across four original songs, Tranter injects the film with a fresh sense of edge, energy, and flair, delivering a nonstop run of hits that gives the soundtrack the scale and momentum to truly soar.

Kris Bowers: Oscar-nominated composer Kris Bowers brings a dynamic score to STEPS, drawing on his signature ability to fuse grand orchestral writing, layered with cultural textures, and unconventional sounds to create a musical language wholly unique to the film’s universe. A longtime Netflix collaborator, Bowers has shaped the musical world of Bridgerton since its first season, as well as Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Main themes include Sister’s theme, Lilith’s theme, Cinderella’s Theme, Priscilla’s Theme, Roderick’s Theme, and other secondary character motifs.
