Description

Suga Shikao's first-ever vinyl record release is confirmed!

Celebrating his 30th anniversary, all nine of his albums, from his 1997 debut album "Clover" to his 2010 9th album "FUNKASTiC," will be released on vinyl for the first time with newly remastered sound!

Suga Shikao is known for his unique sound and profound lyrics.
He debuted in 1997 with the single "Hit Chart wo Kakenukero," and gained nationwide recognition with the song "Yozora no Mukou" which he provided to SMAP. He has produced numerous hit songs, including "Ougon no Tsuki," "Gogo no Parade," and "Progress" under the name kokua. And now, Suga Shikao, who continues to be active, will finally release his original albums on vinyl in chronological order.

The first release will be his 1997 debut album "Clover" and his 1998 second album "FAMILY," both released simultaneously.
"Clover" includes 10 tracks in total, including the album version of their debut song "Hit Chart wo Kakenukero," their second single "Ougon no Tsuki," and their third single "Dokidoki Shichau." "Ijimetemitai" features Kyoko, a labelmate, as a guest vocalist.
The following year's release, "FAMILY," also includes 10 tracks in total, including the singles "Ai ni Tsuite" and "Story," and a self-cover of "Happy Birthday," a song they provided to Kyoko.
Both albums will be released with jackets that faithfully reproduce the artwork of the original CDs.

Incidentally, in 2027, they plan to sequentially release "Sweet" (1999), "4Flusher" (2000), "SMILE" (2003), "TIME" (2004), "PARADE" (2006), "FUNKAHOLiC" (2008), and "FUNKASTiC" (2010) as their first analog records.
